    Hey guys,
Been shopping around for a MT Sport. Not easy to find. Most MTs around here are OR's. Anyways, think I found one in grey metallic that has most options that I want. All Id need are an aftermarket tonneau and a bedmat. Has floor mats, mudflaps, door guards (basically regular protection stuff you find on most around here). Also has the LEDs and tech package which I very much want. Couple other unusual, but very cool options included are console safe and tailgate lock. I carry so the safe is a nice option and tailgate lock is a no brainer.

One thing I get somewhat confused about is the Premium package. It seems like its leather heated seats, a moonroof, dual zone climate control and premium audio. Even though the black leather looks nicer, I prefer cloth. Dont care about moonroof. DZCC is just a waste. Whats the difference with the premium audio though? Is it just navigation? I have no problem using google maps so its not a deal breaker? Also, I usually only listen to AM sports talk radio so a booming system makes no difference. I would just like some clarification on what all is included with that package. Am I missing anything?

Thanks for the help and wish me luck...lol.

Edit...just to clarify, the particular truck I am lookin at does NOT have the premium package. Just want to know if there is something Im missing that might actually make it worth getting.

the only thing I can think of that might be worth getting from the premium package in your case is the 360 camera
and maybe heated seats, but that can be remedied aftermarket.

The only thing I cared about with the premium package was the heated seats and dual zone climate control for the wife (I like an icebox, she wants it to be 'normal').

DZCC is apparently standard on all Off Roads, not sure about Sports. Mine does not have the premium package and came with it, I think it was removed for a while due to supply chain issues and brought back (not 100% sure, that's my theory though). That was a pleasant surprise, and my wife thinks it's acceptable. I'd rather have a knob with hot/cold on it instead of setting it to a temperature, but that's just me.

Premium audio is apparently a waste. If you want better sound it's easier to upgrade the non-JBL system. Using Google Maps is pretty decent, way better than the few times I've had the unfortunate need to use Toyota's nav system. I don't think you'd be missing much.

If it does not specifically say JBL Audio, then it is just the premium head unit. It is not a booming system and will be more than adequate to play AM Sports radio.

I think the 360 camera is part of the Advance Tech package not premium

I have a ‘21 DCSB OR 6MT with premium pack and do not have the forward facing cameras. I wanted the premium pack for the heated seats and painted rear bumper, not an issue if getting a sport, and that’s about it.

Premium audio is just 8” touch screen with navigation. Not JBL unless it says JBL, which has never been available with MT on any trim level. Android Auto/ Apple CarPlay are supported for nav, too, but will require a wired connection or after market adapter. You’re just as well using the wired connection because the Qi wireless charger is very slow (it can be upgraded aftermarket).

360 cameras come in the Advanced Tech package.

True, but lately in practice, Advance Tech is always bundled with Premium Package when Toyota decide to build these trucks, I haven't been able to configure one that's just with Advanced Tech without Premium Package

If you get the 6MT, I don’t think you get all of the goodies that the AT trucks with premium pack do. Maybe that changed.

I don't think youre missing out on anything that you may miss, the "main" selling points of the premium are the ones you don't care for so save the money and spend it on some cools mods!
