So you know how Americans try to avoid medical costs by having procedures done in Latin American countries?

Turkey is the place to go if your British and want dental work done, good to know they're offering other medical services as well

 

I've been able to laugh at alot of gen z humor... but I think I'm finally old enough cause this doesn't make a licker of sense to me

 

allegedly a roundtrip flight from the US, a week in a hotel, and the surgery costs less than the surgery would in the US

No allegedly about it! I've done the math and am working on saving up cause the wife needs a double knee replacement. In my research I found for the cost of just one knee replacement in america.. it's cheaper for us to send her to a hospital in Mexico (which specializes in procedures for Americans as it has a resort hotel attached to it lol) where she can have both knees done at the same time and stay at the hotel for a month for recovery and physical therapy.

 

Damn. I thought that was a rock lol

 

That definitely makes the "free teeth cleaning" seem less out of place, if there's one largely true stereotype about the British it's that they have some funky teeth. All that tea and crumpets I guess

 

It's flipping crazy... when I was living over there at 13 my parents sent me to an orthodontist to try and get braces because my canine teeth were growing out the the top of my jaw stacked on top of my first set of molars and a giant gap between my front two teeth... back molars all kinds of crooked.


Orthodontist said my teeth were just fine and refused to give me braces

My ass is clearly going to die by venomous snake cause I watched it twice and still didn't see it. @Wulf had to point it out to me lol
