    Happy Birthday @fatfurious2 !

and congrats on the new bike @Doc Samson

Unfortunately didn't get any riding in this weekend as I went to Sonoma for my brother's wedding. Was happy as a clam riding to work this morning.

A friend of mine has one. It's nice. I've ridden it many times. He did the fan mod to help it keep cool. Some of them have a tendency to run very hot even under normal riding. His would get very hot when we'd go for rides out in the country, riding the twisty backroads.

    Thanks!

It was a cryptic message, but I meant this:

Dannggggg. I kinda thought that was your intention. I only have single bypasses :pout: BUT mine is unbearable to drive on-road due to disturbing amounts of body roll and an ever-shifting alignment! So beat that, shark boi

Gotta get some taco tabs! I have the bison ones, but dont recommend them.

Also should have just done long travel, because this much work for mid travel is insane

I really do need those. Taco tabs have been on the brain for a while now. I've done my alignment at the shop like 6 or 7 times now?

Mid travel is awesome and great as a best of both worlds type setup. You keep a lot of the road manners and gain a lot of wheel travel. I have lots of travel, piss poor road manners, and it can soak up speed bumps, frost heaves, and potholes like nobody's business.

LT just didnt make sense because we dont have long stretches of whoops like they do out west. And I can fit on trails.

11/10 would use taco tabs again. But would highly recommend a weld bead or TC tab gussets since the arms will shift and bend those tabs pretty quick.

before the bike started running bad i was able to go out on some trails they are not super hard (since im still new to dirtbikes) but it was a lot of fun and very muddy so it challenged me a lot and i for once didnt drop the bike! i was able to handle the little whoops area at 35mph and do a couple small jumps and a wheelie or two! so they day was really great and loads of fun until the 15min ride back home to my buddys place then i noticed it was having issues about 10mins in... but ill rebuild it and ill be back out there eventually

I have the TC gussets on my truck and they’re awesome. For the work/money/investment I always recommend the Marlin gussets to my customers instead. They’re actually cheaper than TC usually and are easier to install and provide far more support so it’s kind of a no-brainer. I installed the TC gussets on my truck long before Marlin came out with his kit. If i did it over, I’d go that way instead.

    None... yet.
So... I know the tires on the FZ are 10 years old... but they are still pliable and zero cracks. Keep 'em on while I'm only street riding or don't even chance it? Maybe see how they feel under controlled, parking lot conditions first?

New Pilot Power 2CT's incoming are on their way, regardless...
