Our local tool house, KMS Tools sells loose drill bits. I bought #10 bits for a couple bucks each.
You can pick up a Number drill bit set from Harbor Freight for $20.

If you’re just wanting get the holes in there without spending more money, a #10 drill should measure .1935” so your best bet would be a 3/16” (.1875”) drill bit.

After doing the math, at only .006” smaller, I should’ve just used the 3/16” drill bit…

Here’s the link to the chart.

    All the things!
Just use a fractional equivalent. It's close enough and absolutely won't matter, especially with the tapered screw heads.

If you have a local Ace Hardware, they should have single numbered bits. I got one like below at my local store. They are usually by the taps and dies.

Thank you! Yeah my dad has tons of tools and it’s odd he doesn’t have a #10.

That is currently out of stock, we are working on getting these made but dont currently have an ETA, we CNC machined the case in house for the initial production batch but as you can imagine that was slow and expensive, we are working on the next batch and we will have them on the site soon... Installation is relatively simple, the module only needs 12V to operate, no tricks, simply connect the red wire to a positive 12V source and the black wire to ground. Using power from the 12V cig lighter is the easiest way to do it, the cable can be then run through the DMM cable cutouts.

The drill bit does NOT have to be a #10, that's what we recommend but we understand that not everyopne has it, 3/16 may be a little small, if not lined up correctly the screws may crossthread, burrs can also make that a really tight fit if not cleaned up. It is better to oversize the holes rather than making them smaller.

3/16 is smaller than the size of the 10-32 screws that we use. Using a 3/16 will make the hole 0.1875 inches and the screw itself has a nominal diameter of 0.1900 inches that makes for a realkly tight fit and may cause interference, stripped screws and other issues. you are much better off using a larger bit than a smaller one

Do your balls loosen when you try and put the phone on your mount? Mine moves to the right a unbit loosening the ball. So say I insert the phone into mount pushing it open on the right side, which turns the ball mount.

. Mine don't move a bit but Snug the balls up a bit with an Allen wrench. If that doesn't work, use a dab of blue locktite

I used Loktite on mine so they wouldn’t come loose. So I have not had any problems yet.

Tightening it again plus some loktite should ensure a very solid fit!
