Bad ground. If you have a trailer harness, start there. Otherwise, start following the wires. Did you move the bulb around to see if the bulb itself is the bad ground?

I am thinking I may have painted over part of a ground when applying the POR 15 to my frame a couple weekends ago. Oddly enough, the problem started happening shortly after...more crawling under the truck to investigate.

Probably need a therapist for that.

As for your truck like posted check you grounds, I've had similar odd electric issues when I got water in my fuse box, went away when it dried out fully.

Probably after I am finished finding the painted on ground! I still have the front section to do!!

Does anyone have a schematic of all grounds pertaining to the wiring harnesses associated with the flashers??? I don't have a fancy scan tool that has the software.

Google the wiring diagrams and all the info is on there. I'd help you out but I'm not at home and typing from my phone. It's good info to have regardless.
