Love that trail. Funny how that hill doesn’t look steep in pics. Did a fun trip last year birds eye gulch, mosquito pass, red cone, radical hill, north and middle fork of the swan, saints john, Lots of cool trails out there. Plus mountain goats

Missed the mountain goats on last week's trip, although I did run into a porcupine.

These vehicles are incredibly capable in their stock form. Avoid the temptation to "build" it like everyone on Instagram (and a large population here), as those mods will absolutely kill your gas mileage. I used to get 20-21.5 mpg pretty consistently. Lift/tires/armor later and I'm down to around 15.

I am doing my best to avoid the temptation! Haaha. The only thing I really plan on doing is new tires. Something more suitable for casual logging road driving & snow rated for the Canadian winters! And some upgrades on : breaks, lighting, OEM skid plate and little things like that.

Not sure if it will be the same in Canada, but I fully endorse the General Grabber ATX. One of the best bang for the buck tires out there IMHO. Of course, do your own research.

Fwiw, Falken Wildpeaks are killer in the snow as well as off-road.

Also.... It's brakes. Not breaks. Lol. EBT Greenstuff if you want the best fronts money can buy.

I said no more posts until the next trip. So... the next trip was to explore the CA coast. We saw a lot of wildlife, and even more sprinter vans. Anyway here are some cool bridges:

    bs3s.jpg

    smp1s.jpg

I don't know if it was terrible lighting or lack of creativity, but I couldn't do this last one justice from any angle... It is really good bridge.

    smp2s.jpg

    It was a beautiful drive!
