Bent the other half of the lock washer for the inner tie rod. Put the boot and clamp on.

I took my prinsu off today and I’m selling it to a friend. I’ll get the roof trim pieces from him whenever we meet up next. I’m digging the slick top.

To avoid holes or adhesive, attach the light to stainless steel flat bar stock using said 3m tape. Then use rare earth magnets on the inside of the topper. I'm on my second light, and they stay put (even with hard wheeling mine never budges).

That’s a good idea. If this one dies I’ll have to do that.

What rear axle do you have now? Looks wide (and sweet).

Just did mine last night, and as someone who has never used a rivet gun, and using a manual one for this in positions where it was difficult to get leverage, I am def. jealous of the air powered one!

Just the plain Jane stock sr5 one. I have 0.5” spacers to help keep the tires off if the shocks and that’s it. It’s the aggressive wheel specs and lack of flares that make it seem wider than it is.

Those upside down rivets are tough with a manual gun. The first time I did that job in 2017 I left the gun hanging upside down overnight with a half pulled rivet. Seems like there could have been an easier way to attach the hood brackets.

2800 mile road trip. 9 states. Mountains. Sea. The old truck just takes it in stride. Realizing I hardly even take pics anymore. I did make up some Bam Beds for the trip, and they worked out great. Dog is always appreciative. wore him out with a 13 mile hike in the White Mtns one day. Tacoma FTW

^^^ Beautiful! The scenery, the truck, and, of course, your best friend!

Because my summer truck fun (PS pump, alternator, water pump, and fan clutch replaced... EDIT: AND rear drums!) just wasn't quite done... :D

    Exhaust.jpg

On the plus side, it sounds really nice AND was probably one of the overall easiest jobs I've ever done on a vehicle! So, very happy!
