So here it goes boys..........I just put on ripp supercharger COIL PACKS(NOT A SUPERCHARGER), and pulstar plugs. I might have a 100 miles on the entire setup. I feel no difference but read below and my mileage is no better.

Before I did all that, my gas mileage was horrible, like 10 mpg, and before I did that, when I am sitting idle, after the engine warms up, I feel a miss, or hiccup @ idle, say @ like a stop light. After I get home my truck smells really hot, like something is not right. The temperature gauge never moves and the rpm's are steady @ idle. The power is alright, gets up and goes fine.

I had a clogged cat, but when I couldn't everything undone @ the manifold, I remember spraying can of brakkleen in the drivers cat, and my check engine light went out. Still out, off!

BUT READ THIS-THIS IS IMPORTANT PLEASE:
I changed my starter a in 5/2021, and when I did I FORGOT TO DISCONNECT THE NEGATIVE TERMINAL......UGH! Well, I arched the starter a couple times, BUT THEN, a noise almost like a musical instrument came from the engine bay(honestly) and scared me bad. But ever since then, I have had that miss.

Also, I HAVE NO A/C. Could the pulley on the compressor be not turning and the belt is being spun across a frozen pulley? I have smelt this for awhile, and had A/C when I smelled it, but now none.

If the A/C pulley was frozen. You’d know it by now. You wouldn’t have a belt on the engine.
You’d burn it up and it would have come off by now.

The smell was probably the A/C Clutch.

As for the miss, I don’t know?
You are saying you had the miss BEFORE the aftermarket plugs and coils?

Have you checked to make sure no wires were sitting on the exhaust after replacing the starter? As far as the miss, check your battery voltage (off and running). Start with the basics.

Sounds like you have more than a single problem.

The ac compressor, like what Tnshooter said, probably burning clutch you’re smelling. I had one completely seized and shred the belt. Another partially seized, I limped it home, it chewed the belt up enough to warrant replacing. Both had the burnt clutch smell.

You could pull the belt off, spin the ac compressor pulley. While it’s off, check all the pulleys. Inspect the belt thoroughly. The ac compressor is probably shot. The pulley might feel not right, or might not spin at all by hand.

The cats, I’ve heard of them melting or cracking to cause a clog. I don’t know if brake cleaner can fix that.

10 mpg is awful low. On mine I cleaned the maf and throttle body, helped a little. Replaced plugs, helped a little. Replaced air filter even though it didn’t look too bad, this made the most significant improvement.

Hook up an obd reader, check for codes, check fuel trims.

I hooked up my Innova reader, it said P0430 Catalyst below efficiency bank 2. Sorry for the very big delay, I am moving and I have a very sick momma I take care of all on my own. No nursing home, if Covid would hit and I couldn't get into see her, I would be arrested for sure if you know what I mean?

So I have had not check engine light one AT ALL, but the scanner read P0430 blah, blah. How is that possible? I erased it because I thought it might be the old read I had before and I didn't clear it from the screen.
