Yeah, that graphic but not on the mnnthbx show bike:

    upload_2022-8-1_18-5-31.jpg

I feel you, I'm 6'2" but am absolutely loving mine. Almost at 200 miles and I've had it since february. If you're looking at mods I've made a few videos on them: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLDiWVGefxHEVAi234aMS4k3W7cL8D5GQZ

The two I'd start with would be drilling out the a/f screw (i've heard a lot of tales of them being set terribly by the factory) and I don't have a video on it yet but swapping out your roller weights and going a tad lighter. Stock is 17g and i went down to 14g, IIRC. I'd have to go look and double check..

Also.. had a terrible thing happen to me today that I've been absolutely dreading and terrified of..

I got stung by a freaking bee while riding!! Shit hurt  Got me right on the back of the neck while I was going down the highway. I think it got sucked into my collar and couldn't get back out.

I was riding through my neighborhood with my visor up and a bee flew in and stung me on the temple. That one hurt!

Not as bad as a bee sting, but the wife and I went for about a 240 mile ride today and on the way back we were on a 2 lane highway when a semi coming the opposite direction blew a retread right in front of me and I got blasted by tire and steel belted shrapnel at 60 mph (is it 120 mph if he was coming at me at 60 mph?). I ducked behind the windscreen but took a chunk in the right knee. Stung like a bee sting. Wish I had a camera.

Bruh that is way worse than a bee sting, shit, glad you're OK and it didn't take you out or break anything! That's intense.

It was crazy. Like a shotgun blast of shredded rubber chunks. My wife was behind me and saw it. I have no idea what I yelled, but she was freaked out because we have helmet comms and she thought I got hurt.

Well I took the bike partially apart and the timing chain is still good no issues there… spun the engine by hand and there is a grinding near the bottom end so I pulled the idler starter gear out to see if it was damaged or the starter and the starter spins just fine and the idler does as well but once those are not connected no more grinding when hand turning… idk what it is but guess I no it’s tear it down more…

I've had something like that happen already. G/F is allergic to them so I carry some Benadryl in my tank bag at all times. Something you might want to consider.

I've been fortunate as I'm mildly allergic to bee/wasp stings. I've had them come in through my vents a few times but the impact killed 'em. I did pick up a spider from somewhere once. Felt a bite on the back of my neck, slammed my hand against it, and got bit again. Pulled over and ripped my helmet and jacket off but never found it.

    Should probably carry Benadryl, too!

I have a few of the old school 35mm plastic film containers I found and I keep one in a pocket of my tank bag filled with some ibuprofen, a couple of Benadryl, and a couple of Zyrtec for allergies.Very little space needed, pretty waterproof, and weight is minuscule. This little trick has saved me or people I've been riding with bunches of times. I also carry one of those old metal Sucrets tins with a small selection of band aids, a couple of those small single use antibiotic creams, a couple of small burn ointment creams, and a small pair of folding scissors. These are packed in a zip lock bag with 2 pairs of disposable gloves and a clean rag. It's not really much of a first aid kit but better than nothing at all.

I have had 2 bird strikes one to my full face helmet and one to a mirror. Both times on sport bikes, it gets your attention for real.
Glad it wasn’t the wild Turkey that wrapped itself around my old Chevy 2500 drivers side tow mirror. That was exciting and also tasty as I took it straight home.

Horrifyingly funny... and delicious! :D Biggest "hit" I've had was a beetle about the size of a quarter smacking my visor. Thought I'd been shot at!

I've taken out 2 birds so far with my '14 FJR. One with each mirror mount. The most recent one was coming home from GA in June. The first one I actually saw it happen, bird just flew right into my path, nothing I could do at speed to avoid it. Most recent one was on the interstate, cruise control set at around 75 mph and I never even saw it. Just....POOF! and a whole bunch of fine, white dust like from those dandelions in your yard when we were all kids.I didn't even know what had happened. Looked down at the mount for my left mirror on the fairing and saw part of a bird there. Stood on the pegs a little so I could reach out and flick it off my bike. Found the feet on my ignition switch and threw them off as well.

Anyone know where I can get little stick figure bird decals? Like to get 2 to put on the bottom edge of my windscreen.

I wanted the marlin gussets but decided againt them because they were going to interfere with something, and made themselves a no-go on my truck. For the life of me, I can't remember what it was though.
