    I think so. There was a local guy that was killed in an avalanche about a week ago. And the weather hasn't made things any safer lately, lots of wind. That just makes the snow really unstable.

    ...and I'm trying to waste a little time until the temps get up a little...only 3* out!!

    Snowshoeing...never been skiing, ever.

    Hoping to make it up to a waterfall - I've been there in the summer, never in the winter. So I'm just curious how its gong to look this time of year.

    I like the map version of the reports, ours are just text so you have to know the mountain names, etc. Makes it a little harder to decipher. http://www.mtavalanche.com/current

    I remember getting home one time after being gone for a week and Shadow (90 lb GS) and Rascal (75 lbs) about knocked me down they were so excited to see me.

    Or is it gonna be payback for leaving her alone?

    2" of fresh snow in town...that means there's got to be about 6" in the hills. :yay: except that means the truck is going to get dirty...

    I check the weather and you check for avalanche possibilities. I think I have the better deal with that.

    My wife and I were in Alaska 10 or 11 years ago and did a fly by of Mt. McKinley and saw an avalanch. There sure is no where to hide and the snow tumbles down fast.

    Take Pics, I know you will. Your outdoor Tacoma pics are some of the best on the site. I like the way you let the scenery overpower the Tacoma. It gives the viewer a great sense of how big the space actually is.
