Serious question, does that mower leave a good finish with those blades or you have to do some twice?

It surprising does a decent job. I think what saves it is the blades get a slight edge put on them every 50hrs I believe.

 

My brother had a set of those gator blades, they were awful in grass as they didn't provide enough lift. Worked great for leaves though. That's the only reason I was asking

 

These are just blades on our X-Mark.

Yeah high lift blades are best for good looking grass. They stink at mulching cuz it sucks the clippings to the top but doesn't want to let them drop so it keeps collecting until it fills the top of the deck.
