Phillies and Twins making a strong push!

 

KC traded Benintendi to the Yanks last week and went to 4 daily rookies. Today we traded Whit Merrifield to Toronto and have now gone to 5 daily rookies. Now, eternal optimist [I am a KC fan after all], I am REALLY liking our pups but they're still too green to know their long term prospects.

 

I'm a KC fan too - grew up right near the stadium. I loved watching Merrifield play and I wanted KC to trade trade him. Maybe he can win something in Toronto. Seeing him win a world series would be wonderful.

As for the rest of the boys in blue - lets hope the pups are good and then clear out the entire front office

 

Yeah, I actually understand both KC trades . . .

Still don't like to see them go. Both will have better opportunities where they went.

My condolences to the Dodgers organization and their fans. He was one of the best ever.

 

He was THE best ever...coming from a Giants fan. Sad to hear the news while the game was on, but I bet he was watching the boys when he went.

Hosmer is back in KC . . . as a Red Sock?

Crowd is still giving him love. He never quite got to the same level since he left KC.

 

I watched the night game the day it was announced Vin Scully passed.

I've been a Dodger fan since 1973 when I was 7 years old.

He was the voice of the Dodgers and to me, it was memorable to hear him through the years of my youth.

The Dodgers hadn't swept the Giants in SF since 1977.

What a historic and memorable moment.
