Are you sure it's a twin turbo? I don't think many production cars have had two turbos on a 4 banger.

exactly! I am always open to factory confirmed data/specs, but no one ever produces it, so until then it's pure speculation.

too many boomers on here with anecdotal evidence that is completely outdated and unrelated...

"i had a 1989 dodge caravan with a turbo 4 cylinder in it and it was a piece of shit so im guessing this 2024 vehicle will be exactly the same"

There is no reason not to expect more power, better fuel mileage AND a longer lasting engine. That is EXACTLY the trend over the last 60 years. In the 1960's it was quite the accomplishment if you had a 1/2 ton truck go 150,000 miles without having to rebuild the engine. With a truck that got single digit fuel mileage with 1/2 the HP of a Tacoma.

Nope totally sober,.... but if you want to start assuming by print on the screen, I assume you're pretty quick to judge people.
You didn't marry the girl you met at the bar did you, fast thinking is a bad habit have when you have no idea who you are talking to.

But that's just me, and my ascension of short thinking. How true was it?

I get like 17-18mpg in the Arizona south west desert. Now, if we think this is bad, I feel very bad for the Gladiator and Wrangler guys. A neighbor of mine just sold his Gladiator because of this issue.

I'm afraid, but you have no chances against prius in your tacoma. So next time you see prius on your bumper, keep right.

my wifes etorque rubicon's lifetime average is like 21mpg. she pretty much only drives city and is usually around 22mpg. me driving on the highway at normal texas speeds (80+) is what pulled her lifetime average down.

4th gen MPG will be better on paper than the 3rd gen, and probably worse in real world driving.

How much more will the 4th gen weigh, like 800lbs?

Prices will probably be 6k over 2023 prices.
