looks like gm has made the twins a little nicer finally even thou it looks like they are keeping the same transmission from the last truck which had issues from what i remember hearing about

 

The sad thing is people will actually pay for that awful 'offroad bumper' for a hefty upcharge.

 

i think thats a standard thing for the zr2 tbh and for a stock bumper even thou its ugly it has decent ish clearance compared to others so it has its place and a reason but that bull bar thing? ya im at a loss for that thing

 

We’ll she is gone folks I got the auto adjuster fixed and a few other things fixed and went out for a ride and the bike was running good then a it started running bad and would stall at lights so we were almost back to my buddy’s place when it had a small pop then it wasdead… the starter spins but nothingelse…

 

Kinda sounds like an ignition issue?

 

It’s most likely a timing chain issue

 

alright so i started looking into the bike last night and found that the timing chain is in its spot and is tight? so i drained the oil after this to see if i had any shiny bits in the oil and no shiny bits or chunks? pulled the stator cover off to see both the starter idler gear and the internals on the flywheel. it all looked good no real issue there? so i decided to turn the motor over by hand (with the spark plug removed) to see if one it moves freely and if the piston goes up and down which it does but the things that dont move are my timing chain and my cams... so im gonna drain the coolant tonight and take the cover off on the clutch side and see what broke my guess is maybe the little sprocket that connects to the crank and timing chain is broken or part of the crank broke.. atm i still dont know but ill find out tonight i guess
