To me that noise is so loud it sounds outside of the motor.

Sorry for the question if I missed the answer, but what engine? I couldn't tell by looking at the photos. Under the hood is much different than my 2007 4 cylinder, but maybe a 2015 will be different with the same engine.

Glad to hear it seems to be isolated to something outside of the engine.

Okay so I’ve had some progress.
I’ve taken the belt off and like I posted earlier discovered wobble in the pulleys and the AC compressor bearing. There was never any knock with the belt off. I replaced the belt and the one wobbling idler pulley(all the auto store had in stock), replaced plugs as well. Put the belt back on and it’s still knocking. BUT. Using the stethoscope I can 100% hear it the loudest in the ac compressor bearing. The knocking happens whether the ac is on or not. Do I need to replace the whole compressor or is it possible to easily just replace the part that the belt spins?

Depends on how much you like having reliable AC I guess. The whole clutch assembly flew off the front of my AC compressor on my way home one night, made some awesome sparks spinning across the road at 3500 rpm. For the price of a compressor and having it charged, it's probably worth it to not have it fail/seize/otherwise inconvenience you.

It’s not a good idea to drive it long term like that, like I have. Resulted in a mostly seized compressor and chewed belt. Then on a work truck it stopped blowing cold, less than 10 minutes later it smelled like burnt clutch or brake material. Found the belt mostly shredded. My idiot boss wanted me to drive it in, started it, smoke & sparks flying out of the compressor.

So yeah, get it fixed right or put in a ac delete pulley if you can’t afford it.
