    I found out more about the PSC res, basically you have a ton of fittings options and a changeable canister filter that they claim helps prevent aeration/cavitation. My cheap baffled res is better than OEM was in terms of aerating the fluid but I need to actually try the PSC one I've sat on for the last 2 years because it still happening

    That sucks. I really didn't want to spend $200 on a damn canister.

    I try to move 'em time to time, not very good at it. The first one I ever drove was the 60 foot triple axle with the tag, not easy to maneuver haha.

    You can probably get away with a generic one if the inlet and outlet are at the bottom

    The c clamps are in my car, with the exception of a small one at home; I got the cheap stuff.

    I do have maybe 3 clamps (vice grip style) though...but those stay at home.

    Even when the Forester gets in and the truck goes, I can't join another forum again bc I've hopped on a new platform, I already did it with the Mini, so imma just post my dad-mobile stuff here.

    Hey Gents

    One of our members in my area @Ozark_RegCab has a nice 96 model reg cab 5 speed that's been causing some grief.

    It has trouble starting after sitting overnight, like it wants to stall. Idles tonight at 400 rpm for a few minutes when finally it jumps up to 1100 like a normal start then down to 600 after a while. Somebody inspected his ECU and said it has a fried circuit. I've not seen many fried ECUs on Toyotas like I've seen with 5th gen Maximas.
    My Nissan logic says low fuel pressure (failing pump or regulator).

    @Speedytech7 @Empty_Lord Any ideas?

    Think Zane suggested a leakdown test.

    Also replacing the knock sensor.

    I haven’t been able to confirm what codes are in they system due to the faulty ECU. And I was wondering if the fried circuit in the ECU could somehow be tripping the KS code or just random codes.. idk
