I am looking to get the lift installed, I just got my 10k miles checkup and I asked about it. He pulled it up and it says it’s $1400 for everything with install included. Does that seem right and/or fair? I’ve had plans on getting the pro grille so that wouldn’t be a total waste. Thanks!

Ahh okay, I thought the dealers/Toyota guarded that for Pros only and wanted VINs for proof,,, if they were playing by the rules anyways.

As long as they got it torn apart if they really want to get ahead of any potential issues they'd be recommending the ecgs bushing also.

The kit alone is ~$1400. I spoke to several dealerships today and most said including fitting + all the tracking tests it takes around 6 to 7 hours. Nobody said less than 5. So this will likely be another $1400 ish if done by a main dealer.

So basically it’s $3000 inc tax.

I have the TRD lift on my 22 absolutely no problems so far and it makes the truck look totally different in a good way, new grille , removed air dam , put Falken wildpeake AT3w on and slight lift. . My dealership had Tacoma's in the showroom with the lift the army green one sold while I was sitting there and I am sure the concrete which was like magnet to every customer in the lobby sold shortly after. My point is not only did they do my truck they were installing it on used trucks to sale, so obviously no concern about any vibration or other problems. Lift took 3.5 hours to install and I was gone, they had it down for 4 hours labor so it was right on the money, alignment included with that You may want to check for a more confident dealership or speak with the service manager if that was the salesman who called you.i checked price and spoke with several service managers not one expressed any concerns about the lift. Good luck!

I was going to ask the same thing. I am in MD and depending on where it is in PA might be worth the trip. I was told getting the kit only at $1400 was a good deal and so no idea how they provide kit + install for this price.

My local Toyota dealer is doing $1800 OTD. $1142.00 for the Lift Kit itself.

Page Toyota. Their parts website is really awesome too, some of the lowest prices and shipping is like $35 on heavy items. https://www.oemgenuineparts.com/

That guy lives like 2miles from me. Rip the green taco

I also have the TRD Lift Kit on TRD Pro 4runner wheels and have had no issues. Installed almost a year ago. I'd say get a diff tech or go to a diff dealership. I assume you are trying to have this installed on a double cab short bed? I don't think they will install these kits on long beds

The Heritage grill on the Pro model has silver Toyota lettering but the Heritage grill on that is included with the OEM lift kit has black Toyota lettering.

I haven’t had any shaking or vibrating on my truck after the OEM lift kit was installed. Over 12000kms on it now.

I don't get why he got rid of it for the Pro, each to his own i guess? His Army Green Off-Road looked great. I am planning on getting this kit around Black Friday, my dealer is currently at 21% off - $1142.00, hoping to maybe score a 30% like they do on wheels on Black Friday.

Pro grill to relocate the front sensor lower than in the OR. You also lose the foglights and housings with the OEM kit. A lot of $ for blocks.

Pro will hold its value longer I imagine. He spent alot of money on the kit and wheels and surely took a loss on that truck. To each their own I suppose. I wouldn't do it personally, I'm too invested into mine at this point.
