    I want to go back to stock exhaust. Ive had my fun with the MBRP XP turn down exhaust, originally purchased April 2021 from extreme terr. for $320.
    has <5k miles on it. sounds great around town and opens up well on the highway driving. some drone (mild to moderate depending on how you hear it) on the 2500rpm mark. great clearance for Off road.

    - I have the extended bed and dual cab so this will fit 2016+ short (with cutting) and long bed well.
    - ideally looking to trade for an extended bed, dual cab tacoma owner so i can get your old exhaust.
    - maybe $100 is fair and we can swap it ourselves or we can work something out.

    let me know, text 415-847-5722.

    Haha. See, exhaust is overrated especially highway miles. I wonder if that TRD Pro exhaust has the least drone vs going back to stock. @Palanterra how is the cabin noise accelerating through 2-3000 rpm’s ? I saw your post that you got the exhaust in 2020

    Tonered also mentioned a pro exhaust cut off at axle. That may be my next route.

    Does anyone make anything which is quieter than stock?

    … than stock? Not sure if you mean what you mean. If so, stock isn’t loud and has no drone. It’s a higher pitch which maybe could be perceived as higher tones so maybe you mean is there an exhaust that is deeper or lower rumble than stock. The answer would be an aftermarket exhaust which is louder in comparison but deeper. On slow roll the aftermarket exhaust is perhaps lower tone but it’s just loud on normal driving and any acceleration they can be loud. I may have not made any sense here and I haven’t even had my Whisky yet lol

    Quieter as in lower decibels than stock. I assume not. Seems like stock is the gold standard for those of us who want the least noise?
