The company put a warranty on it for 3y/36k, a customer should be able to do whatever they want to it, and they should fix it if the failure is a manufacturer defect. If you drive your truck into a mud hole and hydro lock the motor, that's on you for being stupid. However, if some extra gasket breaks loose as your going through the mud hole and blocks the oil pickup line, that's on the manufacturer for using a defective gasket. In the case that Chuck linked, it was because excess sealant in the motor that's a factory defect, and it caused the failure. Whether they were drifting or mudding is immaterial to the failure.

ill try that. we also put alittle thin sliced onion in it. but not too much or will over power it. tonite is fryed squash,burgers with fresh tomatos some type potato

 

we always scedule that type of shutdown on weekends where i work. its 50/50 for me as i work every other weekend

 

I’d want to see the so called excess sealant in the pickup.
Seen plenty of it over the years and one with a shop rag in it with no oil pressure problems.
Doing what they want, I know what you mean and not putting the throttle to the carpet for 30 min etc.

It is what it is. However, I’d like to see exactly what they were doing when all these failures were
happening. The little voice in my head is talking to me..
