Set them out in the sun for a bit before installing them. I had them in my 2016. I took the front seats out just to make it easier. But you don’t have to.

Need to have it revalved. Took me twice to almost get back the stock ride (but enhanced) with my ADS 2.5's. Wanted the plushness but without all the vagueness. No reason for the lifts on these trucks to be valved excessively stiff. Can't believe so many are okay with it. I have no experience with Dobinsons, but here's a link to what my revalve needed: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/drizzohs-21-off-road-build.748190/page-6#post-27516427

Seen a few that feel the same way as you. Personally I don't get it, I thought it rode amazing, just a little vague in some respects. Did you add a bunch of weight to need the heavy pack? The OR suspension is great for stock weight, but I could see how you could want more if you added significant accessories/bumpers, etc.

havent done anything to mine really other than minor stuff since I got it new a couple of years ago.
I just decided however that I'm going to buy out my lease and commit to making something I want to keep for hundreds of thousands of miles, so I have suspension/wheels/tires ordered and on the way. This was an expensive decision as I price out steel bumpers/full skid plates/sliders/ets:frusty:

ha! I've always had this problem...cars/bikes/guns/knives/etc - the tacoma was the one item I didnt get balls deep into dumping money into because it was a lease - I planned on doing it next gen...have a bad feeling 4th gen will be a 4cyl turbo and a ton of tech and whatnot. This will be the last "good" gen to keep "forever"...so many thousands later, I'm committed. Incoming lies to wife on costs of each item.

I feel this! I was totally happy with it stock for three years, and I would've been happy to lease another one. Since nobody seemed to be able to get anything to sell me to replace it, I bought it out. Now I'm pulling money out of places I didn't know I had it for mods. :D It was exactly what I wanted when I got it but if I'm going to stick myself with it for the next 18 years like I did my 4Runner, might as well have fun with it and make it mine.

love it. I have some MR702s, ridge grapplers, and a 2" lift on the way (5100s, 2887s, headstrong 3leaf, etc) - what you thinking?

Nice, that's going to look great! No lift in the plans for me for the immediate future, I like being able to get into my garage. After a head and fog light upgrade the next big purchase will probably be a cap and then I'll worry about the wheels when I need tires. I have a friend at Goodyear that can usually get me a pretty good discount so possibly Ultraterrains. They seem well-liked from what I read.
