Almost none. The change was 17-18 and then again at 20-21.

I have a quick question about replacing transmission fluid.
    upload_2022-8-3_14-12-42.jpg
As per the manual, it states to only replace the fluid at 60,000 miles under certain driving conditions. If my driving conditions do not that meet that criteria, when do I replace the automatic transmission fluid? The Tacoma is a daily driver but I do not tow or do heavy loading so I'm not sure when I should replace the fluid as the manual does not specify when to replace the fluid under normal driving conditions.

If you have changed to a branded fluid, go by their recommendation. If you have not changed yet, do it now.

    WS fluid is nothing special.
You are better off doing it now. Even if you don’t tow.

At a minimum, a drain and fill is what I’d recommend.

Same question as OP. TnShooter recommends "doing it now". When is now? I didn't see in OP what his current mileage is? Do it at 60K just to be safe?

If the Gen 3 transmission is like the Gen 2, drain and fill is a dealer only job. My understanding is the transmission temperature is important, as is getting the fluid level right. Or am I misunderstanding?

Lastly, transfer case, front/rear differentials drain fill are not specified in the manual, except under the extreme conditions specified. What are your thoughts there as to when to change those components fluid?

i'd do a drain and fill every 15k if your transmission gets hot

The 2nd Gen is not a dealer only job.
There is a procedure to jump the DLC and place the truck in Trans Service Mode. Once the correct temperature is reached the AT Temp light illuminates.
That’s when you do your final fluid check.

As for the 3rd Gen, I’ll have to do some digging and see how to get the truck in service mode.

you can easily drain/refill in your driveway. it's easier than an oil change because you don't have to deal with a filter. you just got to make sure you have an obd scanner to read the trans pan temp to make sure you are in the correct range when checking the fluid level. you don't need to put it in service mode as long you can monitor the temps.

Dealer service department told me the following for intervals
    Transmission - 90K miles / 6 years
    Transfer case + both differentials - 60K miles / 6 years

    @DesertRatR

3rd Gen seems to be the same.

I’ll go ahead and warn you. Practice getting the truck into service mode BEFORE you drain the transmission.
It’s also a good idea to measure what comes out, just in case things go south.
At least then you know how much should go back in.
