My friend said the same about her wedding, plus that she starved since she didn't get but 3-4 minutes to eat. Said she'd never do it that way again if that happened.

Simple, they kept all the good shit for themselves

Anyone experience a squeaky steering rack? My FJ sings the song of its people whenever I turn the wheel

Nothing is leaking (yet), so I don't care, just wondering if these things are prone to it. It's not like I have 205k on the truck or anything.. lol

No plasti-dip here! Only Plasti-Dip I ever did was a set of King Ranch wheels I had on the F150 a few years back. First, last and only time I've ever used the stuff.

Yeah... it was a sad day indeed... but the deal on the KR wheels was too good to pass up and it was the only way to hide the tan returns on the wheels that didn't match anything on my truck. I didn't even keep the wheels that long, they had Pirelli Scorpion ATRs mounted on them and those tires were absolutely terrible. I'd put them right up there with half-worn Dunflops. I think that wheel set only lasted a few months but cost me my Plasti-dip virginity. Some things you just can't get back...

    Sigh.

Rebuilding driveshaft. The yoke absolutely WILL not come off to replace the carrier bearing. 3 hours of hammering, jaw puller, etcetera.

Found a local guy who said he'd have a go at it if I can get there half an hour before official opening time. Mechanics are booked out weeks and weeks around here. Guess I'm getting there in FWD only lmao

If he can't get it off, can I steal the shaft off my buddy's 3rd gen 4x4 while a new one shows up?

Is it all just rusted together? The yolk shouldn't be a big to-do to get off. I had to fight the u-joints quite a bit, the yolk was the easy part!

It doesn't appear to be rusted from what I can see. It hasn't been apart in ~260k so who knows? I see people on the tubes just tap them off - no fuckin way. Got after it with the asking hammer and a 2x4 and my 2 ton jaw puller and no fuckin way is it coming.
