    Enough for now

It’s a Rustoleum oil based that I used a roller to apply, somewhat gloss and left a somewhat textured finish.

I like the build, I would add fog light hoops which is an option on the Avid Off-road website. I bought this from a TW member. The front has brackets for a 30” light bar.

So I had my wife help me install. I laid on my back and shimmied under the truck with the bumper on my stomach and lifted it into place. Once on the bumper crash bar bolts my wife thread the bolts a couple turns to hold it so I could slide out and tighten it down. You probably could do it alone, but it would be tough to hold the bumper lined up and thread the bolts. It’s a steel and I didn’t want to risk it coming down on my chest or crotch.

I’m doing the rear today or this weekend, I plan on trying that alone will report back.

Expedition Essentials towel rack. It's pricey but it is high quality and the magnetic mounting makes it a breeze to mount anywhere. Folds flat like a phone and stores away nicely. Would buy again.

Anyone follow a guide or post about the pool noodle mod? Randomly see people say it helps a lot with noise but that’s as far as I can find by searching

Unladen I thought it wallowed badly especially cornering and braking. For me it was more than a little vague. The OME/Dakars fixed that. But yes, within a year I have a load of work gear in the truck as well as front/rear bumpers, winch and full set of skid plates.

I came from a 2nd gen setup the same as my '21 OR is now set up. Only difference was my 2nd gen didn't have the sway bar and had the extra spring the HD Dakars still lack. Instead of the extra leaf, I went with airbags.

I have leftover hose if you’re in New England lol. Just need 5/8” hose, one clamp and two zip ties 8-11” long or so. Watched a 4 minute video at 1.5 speed because people talk too slow lol, and about five to ten minutes to compare the options and do it

I tried installing raptor lights today and ran into an issue.

I’m using an add-a-fuse on the raptor harness and plugging it into the 10 amp low beam headlight fuse.

The raptor light come on when I turn on the headlights, but whichever fuse I use causes the corresponding headlight to not work.

Any ideas what the issue could be?

I thought the first step was dechroming. Or, is it 3” lift? New wheels and tires? Well, definitely not admitting you have a problem.
