It's a neat tool. I've never had anyone that wasn't blown away by it.

It becomes a bit "noisy" in the city but otherwise it's an incredible tool.

Sure looks like a taint wrecker, but I've also learned not to judge a seat on looks alone. Some of the ones that look terrible aren't bad to ride on as long as their shaped correctly for your backside.

Anyone have a PNW cascade post? I picked one up yesterday with a pugent 1x lever. It works fine, just feels slow? like the tension on the lever isn't enough? i had a fox transfer years ago and it felt super fast. my reverb with the 1x lever is much faster as well.

the pnw just feels different? anyone have experience with one and others to compare?

Is it pressurized correctly? My OneUp felt a little laggy too, then I check and it was low on air somehow.

i'm not sure how i would check, but would hope so. i bought it new and dont think it was used too often. wasn't sure if there was enough tension on the cable. ill have to mess with that a bit

shock pump, and taking the saddle off to get to the schrader valve underneath the rail clamp. Doesn't take more than a few mins.

I usually check + if needed, top off at the start of every season

I just had to do that the other day to my one up but it doesn’t look like the cascade works that way. It could be that the seatpost clamp is too tight. Maybe as it’s worn in it slowed down? Looks like you can adjust the speed https://www.pnwcomponents.com/pages/manuals-cascade

Anyone have numbness in toes when first riding clips.

I’m using XTR trails and HellCat 5.10’s.

I’m wondering what to try first, maybe some insoles with more arch support. Idk:confused:

The shoes tight around the toe box? Also, @Pugga runs those pedals and has made note before that they do not offer great platform support for your shoe. I have a set of Saint SPDs and while they weigh a bit more, they have a really good platform with pins to help support the entire foot, very similar to a flat pedal.

Could also be the positioning of the cleat on the shoe - if its too far back and not under the ball of your foot, you may be putting pressure on the soft spot of your arch each time you pedal.

I had numbness in my toes due to the Kestrels, they were too tight of a toe box and the sole was very stiff (not sure if the latter was a contributor or not). I went to the Hellcats and they have a wider toe box which helped considerably. I leave the laces relatively loose, like a loose tied casual sneaker, then cinch up the Velcro over the main part of my foot to help with the upstroke support.
On longer downhill runs, I do notice that the pedals I bought from you do not offer great support, at least when coupled with my softer soled Hellcat. At the bottom of a run, the bottoms of my feet hurt, which I can see easily leading to toe numbness. I want to try the Saint pedals to see if they help. It’s only on extended downhills though, trail riding is fine with my setup.
