What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Nothing better than installing audio in 100+ degree weather.

 

This has been on my to do list for like 5 years. One of these days I'll get to it.

 

I have leftover hose if you’re in New England lol. Just need 5/8” hose, one clamp and two zip ties 8-11” long or so. Watched a 4 minute video at 1.5 speed because people talk too slow lol, and about five to ten minutes to compare the options and do it

I think so! Might be worth calling them to see if it’s changed.

I tried installing raptor lights today and ran into an issue.

I’m using an add-a-fuse on the raptor harness and plugging it into the 10 amp low beam headlight fuse.

The raptor light come on when I turn on the headlights, but whichever fuse I use causes the corresponding headlight to not work.

Any ideas what the issue could be?

 

I thought the first step was dechroming. Or, is it 3” lift? New wheels and tires? Well, definitely not admitting you have a problem.

 

Did you try flipping the orientation of the add a fuse 180?

 

no I didn’t. I didn’t think they had polarity

Picked up this 2020 TRD Off Road on Sunday to go with my wifes '21 TRDORP 4Runner. 51k miles and has every package you could add pretty much. Not sure ill ever use the sunroof but its there. PO also bought the entire catalog from Meso Customs and kindly left everything installed when they traded it in which I really appreciate lol. Immediately put some 265/75/16 Falken Wildpeak AT3's and some Spydertrax spacers. Dealer had put on some terrible street tires.

 

Tell me about it. I decided to putter around the engine bay at 7 pm, cleaning up the relay harness rats nest and prepping a path to run new wire.

Still 104.
