Nope. Considering for the upcoming fall cycle but thinking there's a strong chance there's another year of this (we'll know more in about 100 days). Let's not forget Ukraine.
My question is concerning Ukraine being the reason gasoline prices are so high; Russia provides natural gas to Europe, not gasoline, so why is gasoline so high? When we can answer this riddle then we'll know.

 

Oil and oil derived products are a pretty taut supply chain - they aren't profitable otherwise.

Russia exports oil to many places. Some is refined into gasoline. That has been disrupted by the war and sanctions. Those former recipients still need gas, however, so they are bidding up gas and oil refinable to gas from other sources.

Constant demand with supply contraction.

Well gasoline itself is way up because we're (USA) the biggest refiner in the world and all our refineries are running at least 90% capacity. Like you mentioned natural gas is way up from the conflict so not only are we shipping much more to europe but anything big like that in the energy sector raises the tide for everything a little bit. The demand for energy is what it is, not much shakes it, so if there's a short supply somewhere then another source will make up the difference. Right now the sources that can make up the difference are few so the prices are high on everything

Edit: also completely don't blame ya for staying out still. The market has recovered well the past month but i'm skeptic the economy is there yet. Political strain is way high and has room to get worse with upcoming events. Good economic opportunity for go-getters because of all the strife and labor shortage but not generally. The market always hits a lull in sept-oct and this year it could get dragged way down. I won't judge it till after then
