I’m looking for some input from people who have installed the LcE headers on their truck. Really, I’m just wondering if the supplies gasket is good and holds up or should I order OEM gaskets?

If you only have to use it once the LCE is sufficient. I would go with OEM though in case it ever has to come back off for some reason. Even on the OEM gasket mine eventually started leaking so i cut the OEM flange out and added a flex and v-band. Hope this helps some

I installed them and i was under the impression that they throw in an OEM gasket from toyota. cant remember what packaging the gasket had. give them an email, they are pretty good at getting back to you.

Does anyone in California have the LCE header even though its not CARB compliant? Doug Thorley headers are compliant but of course they are out of stock.
    Sorry for the highjack OP

I installed the LCE long tube header on my 2.7L about 2 mos ago and I have no issues. The header gasket looks the same as the original Toyota one.

    Cheers,

    Doc

    Hmmm…
I tried reusing the OEM header to mid-pipe gasket on our 07 with less than 30k miles and it was a no go! Then used the suppled gasket and it worked. You can tell by looking the LCE gasket is not the same quality as the OEM gasket. Thanks that reminds me I’m having a totally new exhaust system built on the 7th. w/ 2.5”, 304 stainless, TIG butt welded, using a high flow cat, w/ two Magnaflow’s a 5x8x14 and a 5x11x22 to a hidden turn down at the right rear OEM step bumper.
The supercharger w/ the header add a LOT of volume to the exhaust note!
