This should have been a check box poll with more options. The idea of one main reason is tough for me.
    • Ride Height
    • Tow Capacity
    • Off-Road Capability
    • Hauling/Payload
    • Bad Assness!!!

My choice: "Need to haul stuff in bed "

Moving my race kart to/from the shop (race days it gets trailered) from home is the primary reason. Period.

Wife likes to go to get plants/trees/dirt with it too. :)

I wanted a boat for awhile and knew I'd be getting one soon so I was sure I wanted a truck or an SUV with 4x4. Looked at a lot of options when it came down to buying I was between the Tacoma and an Xterra offroad. Decided I'd rather have the bed. Actually said I'd get a Tacoma one day when this gen first game out in 05 and sure enough I did, only took having 2 cars in between.

Many reasons, The cool factor is why I first got my truck then soon after I started using it to haul things here and there, also love being able to go where ever, and many times iv found the back of my truck to be the hang out spot at parties or where ever.

    And you cant forget

My main reason for getting a truck was a need to haul stuff in bed. Unfortunatelly, sheet of drywall or my 100foot General Speedrooter snake wouldnt fit in my Nissan Sentra I used to have before the Taco...
