1 IPA and i'm sleeping zzzzzzzzzzz, but 2 ciders I can do

 

So I upgraded my shit since JB gave me the hookup.
Ordered a Lifepo4 battery and a Renogy 10amp controller.
First off, the Renogy controller is far above and beyond the Harbor Freight one i had.
The HF unit is $70 and the renogy was $20. But i got it fir freee.
The battery on the other hand, paid full price. I don't think I'll order any more batteries during a nationwide heatwave. It showed up a day late, but fully intact

The sides are swollen though. I think it sat in a hot metal truck for a day.
Still showed 13.7 volts though, so i went ahead and hooked it up.

 

That guy was 27. His lifestyle made him look your age

I didn't formally work out today but I pushed a dead truck around in the driveway

I ride dirt bikes occasionally with a dude that's almost 70 and he out rides me. He rides MTB too and races in all the local races.

The first time I met him, he gave me a 'business card' that reads "Play hard, live happy' and some clip art of a skier and a dirt biker.

I aspire to be like him when I'm that age.

 

I "rescued" two friends that I used to coach high school mountain biking with last week. They are 54 and 66. They were on day 3 of the Colorado Trail going from Denver -> Durango this time (3rd attempt) and had not slept more than an hour the past week.

I cooked them a fatty, protein filled curry and pumped a few beers into them at camp near Jefferson, then the next morning after they had slept in I shoved a giant omelette with fresh veggies into them along with some freshly ground coffee. Then we rode together for 3 hours before I turned back to beat the storm back to my truck at Kenosha Pass.

I hope to be riding the Colorado Trail and sleeping on the ground when I'm 50+.
