Just added toolbox and roof-rack to haul my fishing boat 100's of miles into the backwoods every week. Goodrich K02s, Bilstein 5100 front and back, no lift.
Hey Andy, where to next? I need to keep my vicarious holiday moving along.

Wow, crazy, should be pretty scenic.

I can count to 100 in French, and say oui and non. Thats it. A lot of good learning French in school did. Thats what you get for sitting in the back of the class. All the German I know is from watching old John Wayne WW2 movies, and I am thinking those phrases are probably not too useful today.

First time taking the jumping jack out. It held up great through rain and hail. Took the starlink out for a portability test run as well. I want to get a solar generator to run it, a 12V portable fridge and occasional laptop charging + odds and ends.

You’re doing better than I. I took French as a freshman in high school over 40 years ago and today I can count only to 10. My German is worse…. But most importantly I can order a beer in four languages!

Oh that is so true. It’s hard to be motivated to learn another language when English is fairly widely spoken. I do wish I had tried harder in my Spanish classes

My wife and I are both multi-linagual, and the main reason Americans don’t have to learn another language is English is taught all over the world . . . I don’t see how that’s a knock on Americans (although plenty of other things sure are).

Took a trip out to BLM land near the Indian Valley Reservoir. This is her maiden trip for dispersed camping, had a good time but learned a lot about the gear that I'm carrying and the gear that I should be carrying instead. Enjoy the pics, if you want to follow my truck instagram it's @sickinch!

Got out for a few days running around in the back yard. First night was a bit overcast (continued the next day):
Late into camp the next day, and a bit more mud after a couple rainy days:
And the last evening found my favorite camp spot for a while, was a lovely evening, and a good day to make it to camp at a decent hour:

Beau-zo is a rescue mutt, pit/german shepherd/husky/boxer and the list goes on. But he's a pretty great dog. 55lbs of non stop energy. :)
