I think it’s funny any of us are even responding, though it is interesting. At the end of the day, little of what we do to our trucks is a good investment. Smiles per gallon, as the kids say. I spend my money on woodworking shit that far exceeds my skill level or needs (not a professional woodworker), yet only my wife -understandably- questions what I do with my money.

    Nailed it.

I traded a DCSB OR for my current truck and got a screaming deal when I did.

I wheeled the truck in Moab stock, other than skids and 265/75 Duratracs and did Fins n' Things and some other easy trails/roads.

I then upgraded tires, added sliders, and a Wescott lift and did Hells Revenge and Top of the World.

    79063.jpg

The truck is in its current configuration due to necessity and how I use it. Built as is, it was just too much for the factory suspension.

I also have less invested in the actual truck, than most do in OR, so a win/win for me.

    To each their own!

    Thanks.

Those are Victory 4x4 Blitz sliders. The install is a little more complicated than "standard" sliders, but they work awesome as sliders and steps to get to the roof.

That was the one of the main draws to that bumper for me!

Appreciate the validation. Initially thought it was a vain waste of money, but knew that green would have been rough on my soul. They pop more than the OEM springs, but maybe because they are still relatively clean and actually shiny, which I also didn't initially think I'd like.

I mean, YOU can do it in a day. My shop is full of woodworking tools and the mechanically inclined brain stopped at my grandpa.

It seems to be getting better fuel economy every tank full. It up to 20.5 witch I’m very happy with I was hoping to be around 20 my last truck was a Dodge Ram eco diesel witch got 22 mpg but diesel is a lot higher here by about 1.50. I drive a lot I traded that truck for this one and it had 351000 plus on it. I do love how this truck goes down gravel roads it handles them Better then any truck I have had.

Yo! Congrats on the new truck. Were you able to fit 33"s without rubbing on those fancy UCAs?

Nope it rubs. I don’t care enough to address it now, nor do I want to cut up a new truck. When it hits 50k or so I’ll do a cab mount chop.

Edit: also took wheel spacers to clear the UCA’s

So interesting how similar truck do different things. My 33s don't rub anything other than my UCAs in full lock in reverse. I've been light-moderate off roading and never hit the cab mount area that usually gets chopped.

Yea. So, after I installed the Westcott kit, it had a rake and I wasn’t thrilled. I reached out to them, they had a 2022 in their shop with the kit and same size tires. We measured both trucks. Mine was lower in the rear, about 0.5” lower in the front than the one in their shop. Both almost brand new trucks, almost same…

Ultimately I removed their block and used Icon AAL and it leveled out.
    It rubs but I’ll live.

Looks awesome! How the heck are you fitting 315's w/o ripping off the fenders?! I have a Pro with the eibach coil lift. When I off road I rub my 285/75/16's (33") just a tiny bit. CMC, 1.25" bora spacers on stock pro wheels. Considering adding the westscott lift to get some more height since the additional weight of my bumper/winch pretty much took any lift I got out of the eibach coils. Little worried bout stacking multiple lifts though.

On latest pros with the new UCA, max tire w/o rubbing would be a 265/75/16? And is there still a tire in that size that would rub?

Did that poll ever post? I've noticed Pro owners who have replied on this post are mostly 6MT...
