We bought our 2019 Rav4 Adventure AWD new. Well, not the car we originally bought but because North Hills Toyota completely fucked up the 2019 Rav4 XLE Premium I told them to give me an exact car or my $8k down payment back. After the salesman told me to remove the plate and leave it in the middle of McKnight Rd. and the sales Mgr told me to kick rocks I talked to both of them as well as the dealership owner and told them I have friends in Corporate that I would contact as well as my lawyer and all of the news stations to let everyone know what happened and that I knew they had the worst rating of all the Toyota dealers around the region. They told me they only had the Adventure AWD model in the showroom and a base model fwd in the blue color we originally bought. I said "I'm damn sure not leaving here in a base model after a month of hell returning every other day only to find more damage to the XLE Premium". They said the Adventure AWD was $14k more than my Premium so he couldn't do it. I repeated my threats of contacting everyone and said make it happen with the same monthly payment and interest rate. 1.5 hours later we were driving home in the Adventure AWD with the same payment and a better interest rate for the same price as the XLE Premium. The battery was dead in the Adventure when I went to drive it out of the showroom so he said I'll get the jump pack, I replied "No, go to the parts department and get a brand new battery", needless to say we got a new battery. Never let them belittle you or treat you like you don't matter. Always be assertive with dealerships, calm but assertive. Call their bluffs.

Anyone here from around the Food Lion in Wilmington, DE. ? I found something out there that would need picked up, it's actually a board game I've been looking for for decades now. The seller doesn't want to ship it so if someone here can pick it up and ship it to me that would be awesome.

I hate this heat. Hate hate hate. I'm so over it.
It's 97 where I'm working at right now.

 

We've had rain and thunderstorms off and on all day. It hasn't got out of the 70s. Dog has been hiding all day though.

 

I'm jealous. Had to spray someone's attic today and they didn't have an exhaust fan. I'm sure it was about 200° up there. I was just slow cooking myself.

 

I can imagine. It did get into the low 80s after the rain passed. It's been grey all day, reminding me of a typical winter day around here.

 

Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!!! It was in the mid 90s here yesterday afternoon. I cut the grass in the morning and we kept getting rain weather alerts all afternoon...no rain. The storms were all around us. I have to admit that I love the heat, though.

So my brother just bought a new toy earlier this week. Paid 30k for it. Fully restored 67 camaro
