How long did you have to wait for your factory 2022 order/request/whatever it is called?

Was only able to see 2 miles on vehicle report and N/A on main screen now shows 3 miles on main screen with tire pressures. Does anyone know if this means it has made it to the states?

I would also like to know when the app shows this information. When I sign on mine only shows health and alerts and schedule service. The only thing that shows in alerts is basically that the engine is good.

 

Toyota of surprise build was 2/14, long beach 3/8 and picked up 4/16. It was loaded with every option so not sure if that held it up.

 

From what I have seen, I assume it’s when they load it into the semi/when it has arrived at the dealer.

 

23 allocation came out today.... dealer didnt get any allocated

I can't know for sure, but in my case, I believe it was when they loaded it onto a ship from the factory. Three days ago, my salesman told me my truck was sitting at Veracruz, and early this morning I got door notifications, odometer readings, fuel level and tire pressure. I assume the app connected when they started the truck to move it onto the ship.

 

often they get sent to a holding yard near the dealer and shipped from there. That can take a few days

 

It definitely takes a while. My truck was built 7/11 and I am just now getting stuff in the app.

 

Truck was build and processing was also completed today. Build in Guanajuato, no ETA.

 

Everything the same, no movement and it does not show a hold.

I think you mean a Pro? Electric Lime is on only available on Pro's this year. They are definitely rare and hard to get an allocation for. Try other dealers, even out of state. Most places have a waiting list on them.

 

@Rod03, Thank you for checking my VIN twice. Today I got a text from my Toyota dealer that about 180 vehicles that were dedicated for their dealership are being taken out of inventory due to part shortages and my truck is one of them. Very sad news indeed. Just wanted to warn everyone, your Tacoma may not make it. I put my deposit down on June 16th and supposedly the truck was built on July 9th, but I guess not fully built!

 

That would be terrible. I actually paid for mine last week. Dealer said maybe next week for delivery. Would totally suck if I received a call like that.

 

Looking to see if anyone has had a similar experience...I ordered my truck back in April and it had an expected build date at the end of May and mid to late June delivery. Got work the truck was built and was in freight status...fast forward to a week ago I called to get an update and was told my truck and a couple others got held up. They didn't really give a reason or where it was held but said the manager called and they were told that the trucks would be released soon.

 

Have you had @Rod03 run the vin # to see where is it? Have you checked to see if it is part of the recall? There are many reasons these trucks are getting held up so you can try to eliminate a few. Very frustating for sure!

I told myself I was gonna wait a couple more days before I tried again but the door notifications and everything popped up.... and I'm pretty sure a ship departed Veracruz last night heading in the right direction, so I'm hoping my truck made it onboard. I was looking for one on the lot of a dealer not charging over MSRP and would give me a fair value on my trade. I called a lot of dealers and one I spoke to had a truck that was too much $ for what I wanted to spend. He called back a few hours later using FaceTime and said how about this one on the delivery truck? I said let me drive it, went there and liked it. Sometimes stuff just happens at the right time.
