I do read in there frequently, not on my phone usually.

I finally had to get a pair of glasses to keep in there as I would get committed to the job you might say, and then discover I had not brought a pair with me.

I really hate selling things, it is such a colossal p-i-a due to the relentless, unwavering, dedicated actions of
The International Congress of Time Wasters...

You all have met those guys who:
Insist on communicating by endless nonsense text messages
Don't show up
Do show up (generally late) but have no money to spend (or permission to spend it)
Want what you have for 1/4 of the asking price

And then, there is that guy:
He shows up (usually right on time) and takes a bunch of your life looking, testing, gabbing and asking questions -- only to finally tell you "he really isn't looking to buy anything, just wanted to have a look" -- and use up a bunch of air that someone else might need for productive use in the process

Perhaps even worse is selling to "friends".
Occasionally I have fixed up mowers with the silly idea of making a buck .
Along comes a friend who has followed the progress and now:
"is in a bind and needs the mower"

at a fire sale price...
.
.
and can he make payments...
.
.
very small payments...
.
.
for a very long time...

I usually list stuff $50 more for $100 item and $100 more for $400. That way if if they try talking me down its down to my price i originally wanted for the item. I dont sell stuff to friends too often. I will sell something for cheap as in the same amount i paid but wont go below what i paid usually.

 

I lose money on everything, especially vehicles. In the past couple years I sold my '99 S10 for way below what I had in it. Got $1100 when I shoulda got $2500... Earlier this year I sold the rusty ass Talon for well below what I had in it. This one also for $1100... Hmm, I see a trend here...

My in-laws came by with their son and his two kids yesterday. His wife’s birthday is today, she didn’t come with them from Alabama. My wife just told me she found out she has the china flu

 

He can cut off some of coles hair and glue it on

 

... oh FFS. Do they not realize they could be carrying it too? People I swear...

 

It makes us so dang mad.
