Personally don't like the debadged look. I say paint 'em black, or color-match them to the truck.

I don't like the debadged look.

    Painting them looks sharp though.

you just get 3m adhesive tape and put it on the back of your emblems after you paint them...cut around the letters so its nice and neat and stick it back on your truck :)

    Oh Yeah!!!
Debadged stands out big time if not normally done where you are from. I look at it as seperating yourself from the norm. But in saying that I am already looking to start re-introducing some badge work. Got the Devil Horns up front, and Just got hooked up with Sockmonkey on another look. Pic to come when applied.

In short, do it, let it sink in, if not your cup of tea, go for an original design to help your truck stand out among the multitude of awesome Tacos on the road. Just my 2 cents...

Good thing about it is you have a number of ways to go, let alone, debadge and leave off, or debadge give it some time then repaint and put them back on.
It all comes down to how you feel you will like it.
Personally for me I like the debadge look, but then sock hooked me up, and those I could not pass on.

Debadging was the first "mod" I did to my truck; right when I got home from the dealership.

I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
I say debadge a little bit. Leave the "Tacoma" on the doors"/ paint them black. Take off the "Toyota" on the tailgate and Leave Tacoma and V6 on it/paint them black. Probably what I will do.
