How long did you have to wait for your factory 2022 order/request/whatever it is called?

Yes. One day you will log into the app and it will show miles and an empty tank. At that point if you give @Rod03 the VIN he should confirm it's through processing and you may even get a logistics ETA.

 

The only thing I see is the "1 mile"... Nothing else. Today I removed the truck, then re-added it to the app, maybe that will trigger something.

 

No worries. Looks like mine is going through Long Beach too. Darn it. How long were you parked off shore before they unloaded? I'm wondering how long I should wait before I start bugging Rod again.

 

I wish Toyota tracking would give you the rail carts ID or something to track thr shipment lol

 

That makes sense. I was wondering if it would just show up. Rod checked mine the other day. It arrived in Princeton on 8/2. Haven’t heard anything from the dealer yet. It’s on my way home, and I look every day. I hate the waiting game.

 

@Forgotten Waypoints - I am not sure how long it was parked offshore. You should just have Rod give you an update. You might be pleasantly surprised. My text from the dealership said it could be here tomorrow through 8/13. If it was loaded on the truck headed to Phoenix today, I am sure it will be here early next week.

I’m too superstitious. I have wishlists and browser tabs that never close of things I intend to order. But if I order anything before I have any indication the truck is real and en route then I have assured myself the truck will arrive after the next Hayley’s Comet passing.

 

Same, Feels like it's just asking for life to throw another no-hitter at me if I order something for it before I take position.

lol! I actually got ahead of myself and ordered quiet a bit (rear bumper with lights, black TRD rims, sequential signals, mats, raptor lights and grille because I hate the big Toyota emblem grill, LED light kit for the cabin, and emblem black outs, and soon some LED taillights). It was depressing at first coming home everyday and seeing all those parts in my garage, but now with my truck on it’s official way it’s not as bad lol

 

Well at least you know your aftermarket parts will get here faster than the vehicle. It could also maybe help pass time waiting for them lol

 

I ordered the ArmorProTech or whatever it's called screen protector for the gage cluster. Too many photos at dealerships showing dash bezels already scratched, I want to install it as soon as I sign on the dotted line.

I have a Lomax cover, bed light, and gate lock kit picked out, but won't pull the trigger until I get the truck. I guess I'm superstitious too. Then I need to sell (or part out) my daily to get enough money for sliders.

 

A screen protector is the only thing I’m allowing myself to buy before I have the truck. Like NJ Moz said, i’m too superstitious. Definitely want to slap a screen protector on it before I touch anything

 

My White OR 4x4 finally came in today! Pickup tomorrow.

 

oh dang! Now I need to invest in a screen protector lol the bed lighting kit I’ve seen a really nice one on Amazon for a fraction of the dealer one. The gate lock, I’ve seen people use a hose clamp as a cheaper alternative.

 

Just rented my loaner for another month just in case. Man i hope the truck gets here on time. Im dying. I dont know how much more of this i got in me.

 

I feel your frustration. Sales guy called today, felt like false hope. Mine has the recall, he said he thinks it may only be a couple weeks. More realistically I’m thinking early September. It’s been in a QC hold since 5/23
