Favorite Whiskey?

Double oak specifically? Seen sagamore spirit around, usually their signature rye and wasn't sure if it was worth trying out.

 

I heard recently that they went from only being available in Tennessee to only being available at the Jack Daniels gift shop. It’s been about a year since I passed through Tennessee, but they were in the stores then.

Really? I saw it the other day and didn't really give it much chance of being good. I had never heard of it. Maybe I should be more open-minded.

 

Penelope has been recommended to me by a couple people whose opinions I trust, and the reviews were all great. Had never seen the barrel strength before.

Yes the double oak is awesome. Is the signature rye the 84 proof one? If so I crushed a bunch of that this year, then the price got bumped to 40 and I won’t buy it again, priced out.

just tried the EC rye the other night. Very good. their bourbon is a favorite and I always keep it around

 

Was that W12 reasonably priced??

 

It pops up at my Costco quite often, and the rare breed rye. I think it's $39.99 for the rare breed and $46.99 for the rye.

It's been pretty high on my list too.
I've scored a couple bottles of the 10 year bourbon but this is my first go around with the 10 year rye.
Excited to crack it open

 

I had a pour of the 10 year bourbon at a local bar and the bartender mistakenly charged me for the cheaper Michters ($8). That was nice haha.
Super tasty, curious about the rye.

Don’t see much Widow Jane around here, but saw this the other day. I like keeping not so pricey rye’s on hand for an old fashioned. This is tasty
