Damn that's a lot of VW's lol. I've worked on a few and I definitely prefer Japanese to German cars though. My daily tC is like Lego's to work on, I love it it's so simple. Also so much nicer to clean after rain storms than the Taco. Until it goes away for an MK3 supra in the next 1.5-2 years I'll keep beating on it lol.

    New shoes.

I bought Summit Dakars from @Atl-atl last year and ran them for a few months before selling them to @XPOTRPR . Now I'm back to Dakars. LOL.

I was never crazy about bronze on speedway blue. Reminds me to much of a Subaru. If my truck was a different color I think I would have liked the bronze more. 20220805_164008.jpg

Thanks. It's funny, I sold you the Dakars and then the Mickey Thompsons, and now I end up with Dakars and Mickey Thompsons again.

Looks good! Always nice to see a clean tC since 99% of them are riced lol. Loudest interior of all time though. Fully blanketing it with deadening helps so much.

Yeah she wanted it clean and simple. It's a great little car... Minus that 100%. It's even worse on coilovers and low pro tires. I've been wanting to rip it apart and sound deaden it all.. I know it'll help for sure. I did both my trucks.

Tell me you're a masochist without actually telling me you're a masochist.

I kid I kid, I can't help but still feel a strong sense of nostalgia for my GTI. First MT car, first car with some reasonable performance behind it. Modded the hell out of it but kept it a sleeper. Stock muffler and stock wheels, mostly stock exterior, etc. but everything else got tuned. Hell, I even used a giant ass side mount intercooler so I wouldn't give it away with a fat FMIC. :D It wasn't the fastest thing on the road but it surprised many people who assumed it was stock.

Many afternoons as a young monkey throwing wrenches and dreaming of the next big project.

Sounds like a clean build. They're great street cars if you dont try to turn them into racecars. Mines really comfortable with Flex Z's and Hankook S1's. Probably one of the quietest tc's in existence with all the layers of deadening I've done.

My build thread if you're interested: https://www.scionlife.com/forums/scion-tc-2g-owners-lounge-1824/drizzohs-2014-tc2-5-thread-233075/
