Do you think it was for the recall that it was held up? I read that Toyota was going to "hold" the unshipped trucks affected by it. My TRD-Pro was built a few days ago (after a 1-week start delay) and it's getting on the boat now. Since advanced tech is standard, I would think you weren't held up because of anything on the premium package?

    That's really frustrating.

My truck is sitting in East Brookfield Ma, an hour down the road from me. Truck arrived in Massachusetts 5/22 then the hold started 5/23. Dealer thinks they knew about bad welds and recall was coming and that’s why they held it up
I hope the truck is complete. It has premium, led and tech. The dealer has a Sport with same options held there too

@Rayca$h92 - can you post the link for the bed lighting kit off of Amazon? I wanted to add that to mine but didn't want to pay the dealer price

I ended up just getting the port install for the bed lighting kit for mine. after watching https://youtu.be/64OvN33laXY?t=230 I felt like that was a good choice given the price.

You don’t have to do no cutting or any of what he says. It takes about 20 minutes to install for someone who has minor mechanic skills. If you can turn a wrench you can install these lights.

@Rayca$h92 - thank you so much!! I want to buy it now knowing my truck will be here next week but also am very superstitious and don't want to jinx myself. I already told my husband I am waiting until it is in the driveway to buy anything for it. Then I will continue to go broke... ha!

P.S. - its pretty awesome to see how many on this thread are buying manual transmissions. I am super excited to have a manual transmission again after 12 years of not having one.

    Anyone know what permaplate is?
    I’ve $2k down on a truck & added (2) items.
    (Bed mat & cat guard)
Flying and driving so I for detailed pricing and he’s trying to throw in permaplate for $699.00
Is that something worth having done?
Usually commute by motorbike & truck stays in garage.
    Thanks

waste of money, that's just pure profit for the dealer, same with tint, wheel locks, fabric protection, etc.
