If you want to sell to close you need to do it before 4PM. If you keep it open and it goes ITM AH's you get margin called even with a non-margin account. Usually if it's that close you just call your broker and put in a Do Not Exercise request. Then if it goes ITM AH's nothing happens and you do not owe money or take delivery of the stock.

    Dang.

    Tasty!

Think I'm gonna get a couple butcher calves from one of farm neighbors, he has 3 seperate herds that need to go to auction, it pisses me off to see the empty shelves and high prices.

Not thrilled about paying $9/lb for seasoned tri-tip, but it is what it is at this point.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
I thought you were the old one?
Unless you're on Robinhood, it's 3 pm on day of expiration.

Along the meat discussion... We get a quarter cow each spring from a local guy. We pay poundage on the cow and processing for the butcher.

I will surf the local non-walmart grocery for quick sale steaks and what not.

    P. P. S. You can make beef wellington with properly marinated roasts, puff pastry and a decent air fryer.

I'm always surprised yall don't go to local butchers more often with how much effort you put into cooking all this stuff

I definitely enjoy paying 2x the price for meat from a local butcher as I do at the supermarket...

So this is pretty crazy I’ve discovered that the 24 ounce blue moon is the same price Per ounce is a 12 pack. It’s $2.50 for a 24 ounce at Wegmans. And $14.99 for a 12 pack

The 24 ounce beer has a five cent deposit the 12 pack has a $.60 deposit

so now when I feel like straying from my IPAs and lagers I can enjoy a wheat beer without committing to 12.

Depends where you live. My wife lived in Tyler Texas for a couple months while on rotation and the Walmart there had a meat selection that was great. I think there was a local farm nearby or something because beef, milk, and eggs were extremely low cost. It blew my mind when I saw that I could get a dozen eggs for a $1…. Of course this was back in Old America circa 2017

Up untill Covid Walmart had the absolute best selection of briskets. Full briskets not just the flat. You could get a 12 pound brisket for less than $40. 18 pound brisket for 60. Now that kind of meat would cost you over $140
