6/4 Build Gang

Woohoo! Just got a notification on the Toyota app for door unlock, tire pressure and one mile on the odometer for my 7/5 build.

Looks like I might finally be getting some progress!

 

I finally have tire pressure and odometer reading on my 7/5 as well. Happened about an hour ago.

 

Great news! I wonder if this means we're getting transported? Has your dealer given you an estimated delivery date?

 

He’s still saying 7/29 - 08/04. So we’ll see if it’s here by Thursday. I’m in the Bay Area, so I foresee it potentially getting here by then if it’s moving.

 

hmm...mine still showing the same 1 mile....no changes yet. I guess I could have Rod check but gonna give it a few days. Haven't heard from the salesman yet.

Hi all, new to the forum, joined specifically for this thread. I’m also in the 6/4 build date club and located on the east coast in South Carolina. I’ve been waiting a long time for my Lunar Rock TRD Sport (w/ tech package). I placed my order back in Feb. Dealer keeps pushing back my delivery date. Last update was Friday, date has been pushed to 8/26!! No reason why…very frustrated on this process and the lack of updates from my dealer. This is twice in a row where I thought it was coming any day, then find out it’s changed to a month out (I sold me previous car weeks ago thinking it was close). I have very few choices other than wait it out due to it being exact options I want and MSRP price.

No luck with Rod since it’s SE Toyota. However, I did pester my dealer again. He said it’s purely supply chain issues. There’s a shortage of transport drivers to deliver to rail stations, and a shortage of train engineers to drive the rail cars.

Coincidentally, I also got two more door unlock notifications from the app! Maybe it’s once for movement from the factory, and once for movement at the rail station? So it seems to be on similar timing with other 6/4 builds.

 

I got some more door lock notifications earlier today and another mile on the odometer. Rod told me the delivery date is the 8/18 to 8/23. My Tacoma is coming from Baja to Pennsylvania and the dealer is going to ship it to me in Massachusetts at their local dealership. Before there wasn't an estimated delivery date now there is. I would assume that you're probably getting your relatively soon too

No, I’m getting mine through Wellesley Toyota. I did talk with Koch in Pa.and they referred me to Koch in Lancaster. Koch in Lancaster has a lime green they are willing to sell at MSRP. I wanted the MGM at MSRP from them but they wouldn’t budge. Since mine is on a forever hold Ive been looking around seeing if I can’t find one someone backed out of

 

My dealer just informed me that the GST port in Houston have completed processing of my 6/4 build. It should ship to the dealer on the next available semi transport.

 

Still waiting. Should be here by 8/10…

 

Dealer just sent me an update. It's supposed to be put on a truck today and hopefully ready for pickup on Thursday! Will keep you all posted.
