Beginner Of roader Orange County California

I’m eager to get out too.

That said, I’ll be headed to PioneerTown the following weekend for the run up to Big Bear. It’s organized by a group on Instagram and here’s their post.

 

@TRD.Meza we’re doing the 3n14 tomorrow @PhotoDan will go up and back , I’ll head back down the other side on the 330. Hit me with a DM/direct conversation if your in . I’ll give you a start point. At a gas station in Hesperia at 8:00 . Sorry for the late notice…

Hey, Jesse. @saltndirt4x4+ wants to check out Rattlesnake Canyon soon and @DNguyen1033 wants to try Pilot Rock. We don't have any dates set yet, but I'm sure we'll hit one of these trails soon.

 

@Jesse46, Dan, & Ed. Redfive11 is going to Gorman but I rather go rattlesnake canyon or pilot rock b/c it’s a bit closer. For Dan, he’s in the middle so it doesn’t matter lol. I’m up for either place. If u guys are picking dates, give me a few selections. My work schedule is weird that’s why.

 

I'd be happy to go to any of the spots mentioned, I work weekdays so anything on weekends is fine with me.

 

Heading to Gorman/hungry valley on Sunday if anybody is interested.

Just follow the road up. There's a few turns at the top but it's an easy fireroad, any 2wd could do it

I wish I could get out this weekend, but I'm already booked. Definitely going to get out asap. Rattlesnake Canyon might be our next trail.

 

Did Santiago Peak with the crew. About 20 rigs total, with a few non-Toyota Jeeps and Fords. A great group overall and very helpful. Definitely make time when the next run is scheduled.
