You can't configure a 2022 model on Build Your Own...

 

Try different zip codes as Toyota's website is kinda funky and will only let you build what is currently available in that region. If memory serves me 7150 is the Model Code Number for a 2 wheel drive Off Road.

 

I know for sure they made a 2x4 Prearunner Off-road in the 2nd Gen trucks.
I have never seen a 2x4 Off-road in a 3rd. Nor have I seen a 3rd Gen “PreRunner”.
However, I’ve seen people here on the forum that say they own a 3rd Gen 2x4 Off-road. So, evidently they do exist.

 

They replaced the PreRunner with the 2WD Off Road.

I didn’t know that. I have never been in the market for, or kept up with the 3rd Gen trucks.
From time to time, I’ll venture over to the 3rd Gen section. But I don’t have much experience with them.
I’m curious to see what the 4th Gen brings. I don’t like buying the first few year models of a new truck, so that would put me at about 20 years with my truck. I’m hoping it’s a nice upgrade by then.

I just didn’t see the 3rd Gen offering enough for me to “upgrade”. It is a nice truck.
Just not enough for me to want one. AKA Spend money on.

 

From what I am seeing about the upcoming 4th Gen, not feeling too excited. Sounds like it's going to be a 4 cylinder turbo and most likely no manual transmission.

 

I’ve never owned a turbo car. I’ve owned a supercharged truck.
To be honest, I’d rather have a hybrid than a turbo. I just don’t know enough about them.
I quit caring about “speed and power” after I sold the Lightening.

Sure more power for towing would be nice. But then so would a bigger truck too

 

The rental house does not have air-conditioning, so we had a lot of windows and doors open throughout the day, which is how I'm guessing this little guy (or girl) ended up in my bedroom; I put the frog my bathroom sink so I could get some good pictures...

 

At first I thought this was a toad, of the variety I see all the time back home in Pennsylvania, but I've never seen a toad climb vertically...

 

I watched him climb the bathroom mirror before bringing him outside and letting him go...

 

And it's not even Wednesday yet!

 

As I said before, the house does not have A/C. All of the main level bedrooms have doors to the backyard, and I've been sleeping with the door open but this shutter thing latched...

 

I only latched the top hook my first night here, but I don't want to wake up in the middle of the night and find something bigger than a tree frog in my room, so I latched both the top and the bottom...

 

There was a frog like that in the Silverado yesterday, think it simply got in the cab by crawling thru one of the many rusted out sections.

 

My uncle found an even bigger frog in his shower today!
