Actually think I might go. I cant camp unfortunately, so do you think its worth a day pass to check things out? may opt for the off road course pass as well.

I think it'll be fun for a day. I'm going to play the off road course by ear though, it looks... underwhelming. TBD!

Didn't get a chance to make it out. Wife was on board, but daughter is still getting over a cold so opted to skip it. I'll hit the next one. How was it?

I thought it was a lot of fun! We met everyone from the local rednecks to the Western junkies. Lots of variety in the builds as well. Vendors and seminars were okay, nothing to write home about.

The offroad course was entertaining but even the "advanced" section was completed by some stock Subaru outbacks. I still managed to get my taco on two wheels using some creative lines and learned a lot from the more experienced drivers.

It would have been fun for your family, there were a bunch camping out for the weekend and just enjoying themselves. Their instagram page should have a bunch of posts showing you what it was like.

Definitely next time. I need to get out to some of the local areas to lubricate the gears a bit. Finding the time is the current enemy.

Would be interested in getting together and stretching the legs in the next few months before it gets blistering hot again.

I wouldn't mind doing a show'n'shine meet up at like Ace Café Orlando some night or something, unfortunately my off days are sheit right now. Would only be able to fo it mid week which pretty much puts the poo-poo on it for everybody else.

    A little of this:

    PXL_20220730_160505908.jpg

    Some of that:

    PXL_20220730_184234136.jpg

    A whole lot of:

    PXL_20220730_183309259.jpg
    (Basically nothing)

And if your hubris is larger than your ground clearance even some:

    PXL_20220730_164855053.jpg

Beyond that, lots of sand, dust, some mud, light pinstriping is likely, and good times.

Citrus largely could be done by a 2WD base 5 lug and some all terrains, you got to kinda find the fun spots and make the most of them otherwise it's just a sandy drive through the pines.

The majority of the fun stuff has chicken routes around it so you can avoid the few lightly technical obstacles.

It's a great newby stomping ground but it can get a little boring a day trip is great, maybe even camp the night and do some dark runs but otherwise not much to write home about.

If you're really looking to test your metal Hard Rock OHV park is probably the best area in Florida, otherwise it's out of state if you want to crawl technical stuff, rocks, and these things they call "mountains" whatever those are, I hear they're like really big rocks but I ain't never seen none in Florida so I'm not convinced they exist, along with that "snow" stuff like that's really.
