    Looks to me like the bushing may just be worn out. If the yellow contacts the LCA it could be the culprit of a metal on metal noise. I would think you could find newish OEM shocks for real cheap on offer up, craigslist, TW, etc.

    He guys, I am in fact alive. Spent two days driving hundreds of miles of remote Wyoming dirt roads, then a great afternoon bopping around Medicine Bow, then one shitty rainy night in Colorado (pretty cross with CVT right now), and now I'm camping next to a missle silo off of I70 in Kansas. Home tomorrow...
