Well this is California, everything you do here is put under a microscope!
My third brake light came out good but I think I might get dinged for the turn signal lenses, those came out a little darker than planned, you can still see the orange but we'll see what happens.

One of my favorite trucks on here. You got Hawaii ties? Noticed the islands.

Why thank you, I am flattered!
Sorta, the wife and I had our honeymoon and told me that we were going to be parents there.
We went back there 10 years later with our kids. Then couple of years later went again but my mom was sick, and we told her that we would postpone the trip, but she insisted we go so we went. While we were there, even it was so beautiful, I had this strange feeling and when I was swimming in the ocean, a couple of turtles popped up, one in front and one in the rear and scared the hell out of me. The one in front looked me in the eye and the rear turtle brushed my legs. I think that was my mom telling me that her time on this planet was coming close to an end and she wanted to say goodbye.
When we flew back to the mainland my aunt called me to go to where my mom was at hospice, and she couldn't talk anymore and passed a few hours later. I got to talk with her and say goodbye through those two turtles, that is what I believe. I feel that I have a strong connection to the Islands and when we figure this Covid out, I want to go back.
My best friend also bought a house out in Kihei, I haven't been there yet but will stay there when we go out again.
Sorry to ramble on but Mahalo for the kind words!
    Take care,
    Aloha!

No worries! Sorry to hear about your mother, but glad you were able to say goodbye and be at peace with a difficult loss like that. I don't know if you heard of Aumakua's before but if not look it up! Aloha brothah

Thank you, Mom lived a full and happy life and got to meet her grandchildren before she left this earth, she wanted grandkids as her final goal. Coincidentally it will be 6yrs on this coming Thursday that she passed, I feel her presence with me every day.
I never heard of Aumakua and looked it up and it seems as if the Asian/Pacific Islanders have a family god to watch and protect their families. I am Asian and we do a thing twice a year where we visit our loved ones who have passed (ancestors) prepare a meal and offer to the ancestors and eat with them. After that we burn paper money and clothes and necessities that they will need in the afterlife. Kinda gives us peace and closure that they will be okay and that they will look after us until we meet again.
Well, it was good to chat with you, take care and will see you in the forums and maybe one day on the Islands!
    Aloha to you too brothah!

Update: these lights are bright! I was at a stoplight and a big ol' Ford with a chrome grille was reflecting the back of my truck and I could see the lights. Those led's are way clearer than the stock tails with the led bulbs.
It sure grabs your attention, hopefully people will notice and not run into me! Lol!

Thanks man! Yeah, I am proud of it, my wife thinks I need to sell it but I tell her it is paid for and still runs like a champ.
