AC Blows out driver side dash vent while on floor mode

Ive always noticed on some of my older toyotas and other vehicles that eventually the ac will blow out the far left air vent in the dash while on floor mode. On my 22 taco iv'e recently noticed this, I don't think it did it when I first got it brand new as its still super new with 3800 miles on the odometer.. Does anyone else's do this too? Guessing its normal.

 

"Floor mode"is a bit of a misnomer. In that setting air is sent to all the vents except the center dash vents.

 

The 2 outer vents on either end of the dash always allow some air through. This is normal. The only way to shut it off if to set to recirculation mode and turn off the fan.

 

i would look for a ham sandwich or a plastic super hero blocking the pathway.. he-man can be awfully passionate about a cars interior design as he's been removed from my console several times. sometimes he chops his own arms off and stuffs a little souvenir of himself for later. i'm so glad this phase passes
