I had to do the same for Jacquee, my rescue pit, cause she was timid as hell and stuck to me like white on rice. Wouldn't leave my side at all not even to eat.

 

She picked it out of the food, I mixed it in too haha, and then ate a couple bites of the food. Touche doggo

 

Well, I'd just let her be.

When she's hungry, she'll know where the food is as long as you leave it out.

I never knew they were a thing until I moved out here.

 

They used to be out here, but you gotta have big balls to try and compete with Costco on their own turf haha. Took 7 years and they were all boarded up or turned into other big box stores. Costco dumped prices and took losses until Sam's folded and left haha

Yeah stuff is cheap here when buying in bulk and not as busy (cause I hate people).

Costco is just down the block from here so you know they have to be really competitive.

Best of all? We pay via the app while in store so no lines.

 

Ohhh I heard that have that scan as you go app. Does scanning each thing make shopping more awkward?

 

The Sam's/Walmart here is pushing to prevent Costco from opening a location lol

We'll park off to the side, scan, and pay.

You can also scan as you put stuff in your cart, whatever is convenient for ya.

These definitely help, as well as canned dog food mashed into to the food

She is probably very anxious and will likely start to eat soon. Bert didn't eat for 3~ days when I adopted him and IIRC vet said it was only a concern if you get to 5-7 and they don't start

 

We also added rice with our chicken mixes. In our case it helped a lot, filled out the food a bit.
