    Hello everybody.
Got my first Toyota on Saturday 7/30/22 and Tested positive for the vid today. So I have a bit of time on my hands.

Background : This is the first truck I have ever had that really has decent options for customization. Im coming out of a 2020 Chevy Trail Boss, and before that I had a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 for 15 years. The truck I have now is a 2022 Tacoma SR with the SX options cause I like to ball but am on a budget.

I have a pretty basic build plan, I like to off road but nothing extreme no bouldering, deep water, or mud. Basically fire roads and shitty conditions for hunting and fishing. Usually use my four wheeler for really bad things.

So I know everyone has an opinion and I know some will say "Wait and get the better stuff" but I would like to know if theres some different options to consider. Here's my write up with links.

Bilstein 5100 Some Bigger tires on the 16" wheels probably go with a decent AT 265/75/16 (Probably a Mickey Thompson)

Definitely want armor Because its a V6 im thinking Aluminum https://rcimetalworks.com/product/05-19-tacoma-full-skid-package-deal-copy/

The 5100 ride amazing one my 02 Tacoma. Did them with a fresh set of springs at 230k and wish I did it sooner. The ride is worth it. A little perch clicking but otherwise great suspension upgrade

From what I have researched you can take the 5100s and use them with your stock springs, however all the information I have been able to find suggests that you lose some ride quality. Which I mean that could be a bias opinion. If you can find any 5100s right now it may be best to order them with new springs and pre built. I believe toyotech has an option for that but its like 1000$ Another option is an Eibach lift which has great reviews.
