What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Just had KDMax tune done. Guys, it’s the real deal! I can’t tell you how much better and more fun the truck is to drive. I smiled from ear to ear on the drive home. Thanks to @Phich for taking the time to explain everything to me before making my truck amazing.

 

Today's "to do list" was a visit to Luke @ HighCountryTuning for the OTT (tune).

This tune does everything it's supposed to, so no need getting into what it does. But for those in his area, looking to tune, DO IT!

Luke is a very knowledgeable and personable guy. We shot the breese for a while and went over everything to expect. Very pleased.

Was going to change the idler pulleys and belt. Developing a bit of a chirp and squeal. 160 km.
Unfortunately stealership wanted $200 each pulley! I was ready to fork cash but 200 for a pulley! ? Lol.
I also asked for tensioner price at same time. $550 !?

After my service. The tech personally sent a video and explained what he did and why he did it. First time ever getting something like that lol. I went to that dealer based on anrecommendation. The truck does drive better and feels more stable. I also had a slight vibrations. Everything is now smooth and drives good.

 

Got a dunes trip planned in the near future. Had to have an orange or red flag 9’ up and 8x12” orange or red. This is more difficult than you’d think to do it right without duct tape and super glue , unbelievable. Because I know others struggle with this that has the need. This is what I did. I wish someone would have made a post like this when I needed it. Would’ve saved me lots of searching lol

Rago Fabrication Antenna/whip mount. Much better than the Cali Raised one. It’s very hefty and going to handle any stress easily. Because I will rarely use this I didn’t get a spring, I need to see if I will really need it because I will probably need a hefty one for the radio antennae.

applied cerakote wipes to all exterior plastic. def shiny right now, but lets see how long it lasts. Says itll go 200 washes but that seems extremely doubtful.

 

So if I never wash my truck does that mean it will last forever?
